Inauguration of the Calatrava's “Vela"

At the inaugural evening, accompanied by Richard Strauss’s symphonic poem Also sprach Zarathustra, we experienced a symbolic journey. Ambition, born intense yet fragile, followed by the inevitable collapse of certainties, silence and emptiness, and finally rebirth. In this performance there were no narrating actors. It was light, music, and color that spoke, enveloping La Vela in the symbolic journey back to life.
